Audit log

See who changed your store's sensitive settings and when, with the value before and after, for one store or every store in your organization.

The audit log records every change to the settings that decide what data leaves your store and who can reach it. Each entry says who made the change, when, and what the value was before and after.

There are two views:

  • One store: open Settings → Store → Audit log.
  • Every store in your organization: open Settings → Organization → Audit log. A Store column shows which store each change was made on.

Only Owners and Admins can see the audit log. Members see a note asking them to check with an Owner or Admin. See Team & roles.

What's recorded

  • Consent Mode and privacy settings
  • Meta destinations connected or removed, and sending turned on or off
  • API keys created or revoked
  • Shopify order data sharing turned on or off
  • Routes and pages added, turned on or off, or deleted
  • Changes Zappush support makes on your account, such as plan access

Changes that switch a protection off or take something away, like turning off Consent Mode or revoking a key, are shown in red so they stand out.

Reading an entry

The list shows the newest change first. Each row has:

  • When: the date. Hover it for the exact time.
  • Who: the teammate's name and email. A change made by Zappush support reads Zappush support, and one made by Zappush on its own, such as a route created for a new page, reads Automatic.
  • What: the change in plain words.
  • Change: the first value that changed, before and after.

Click a row to open the full entry. It lists every setting that changed, with its value before and after, and the time in your store's reporting timezone.

Use Filter to narrow the list by the kind of change, by who made it, or, in the organization view, by store.

How long entries are kept

Entries are kept for as long as your account exists. Nothing in Zappush lets anyone edit an entry after it's recorded.
