Workspaces & stores

How your organization, workspaces, and stores fit together in Zappush, which settings live at each level, and how to switch between stores.

Zappush organizes your account into two levels: an organization at the top, and one or more stores inside it. This page explains how they relate and where each setting lives.

How it fits together

  • An organization is your company account. It holds your team members and your profile.
  • A store (also called a workspace) sits inside the organization. It is one connected shop, with its own data, connections, and billing.
  • Your organization can hold a single store or several. Each store keeps its events, analytics, and connections separate from the others.

When you are signed in, the page address shows which store you are looking at. It follows the shape /your-org/your-store/..., so the same screen for a different store is a different address.

How settings are organized

Open Settings from the gear icon. The sidebar turns into the settings menu, and Back to your store at the top returns you to the page you left. Settings are grouped into three scopes, each open in the menu:

  • Store: settings for the store you have open.
    • General: store name, URL, timezone and currency.
    • Install: getting tracking live on this store.
    • First-party domain: serving tracking from your own domain.
    • Consent: how tracking follows your shoppers' consent.
    • Event tracking: how events map to your funnel stages.
    • Notifications: which email summaries you receive, on stores with Ad Compliance.
    • Developer: API and MCP keys for this store.
  • Organization: settings every store in your organization shares.
    • General: your organization's name and URL.
    • Stores: every store in your organization with its domain, platform and type. Click a store to open its settings, or Add store to connect another.
    • Members: your team and their roles.
    • Billing: your plan and payment.
    • Legal and privacy: policies, agreements and data requests.
  • Your account: settings about you, wherever you work.
    • Profile: your name and email.
    • Preferences: how dates and times are shown to you.
    • Devices: where you are signed in.

Your data connections (Meta pixels and your Shopify source) are not in Settings. They live under Connections in the main sidebar. See Connections.

The account menu

The account menu in the top right is the fast way into settings: it opens Your account, Organization settings or Store settings, and signs you out.

Creating another organization

If you run more than one business, you can hold each one in its own organization, with separate stores, team, and billing, under the same login.

  1. Click your organization and store name at the top left of any page to open the switcher.
  2. Click Create organization at the bottom of the switcher and give it a name.
  3. Run through setup for the new organization, the same flow as your first one. Since billing is per organization, the new one starts its own trial.

Switch between your organizations any time from the same switcher. No more signing up again with a second email address.

Switching between stores

Your organization and store name at the top left of every page opens the switcher. It lists your organizations on the left and the stores of the one you point at on the right, each with its domain and platform. The store you are in is shaded.

  • Search every store at once. Start typing to find any store you can open, in any organization, by its name, its domain or its organization's name.
  • Land where you were. Pick a store and you stay on the same page in that store, with the same date range. If that store does not have the page, you land on the closest one it has, such as the list a record belongs to, or Overview.
  • Pick an organization to open the store you last used there, or its first store. An organization with no store yet opens its setup.
  • Recent stores at the top of the list holds the stores you opened most recently.
  • Use the keyboard. The arrow keys move through the lists, Enter opens the highlighted store and Esc closes the switcher.

With a single organization, the switcher is one list of its stores. The bottom of the switcher links to your organization settings and to Manage stores, where you add a store. Zappush remembers the last store you used and opens it next time you sign in.

Press Ctrl K (⌘ K on a Mac), or click the search box at the top of any page, to jump to a page, tab, setting or section of the store you are in, or straight to one of its Meta pixels, audiences, pages, routes or lead pipelines.

  • Type a few letters. Search forgives small typos and knows other names for things, so "facebook" finds Meta. Each word counts on its own: "meta billing" shows both.
  • Reach your other stores. Below the store you are in, search shows matches from your other stores, your organization's first: their pixels, audiences, pages, routes and pipelines, and pages they have that this store does not. Each sits under its store's name and opens in that store, with your date range. Type a store or organization name with the rest of your search, such as "northwind pixel", to see everything that store has for it. When the store you are in has no match, search says so and shows what it found elsewhere.
  • Switch store from the same box: type a store's name, domain or organization.
  • Find an order by its number. Type 4821 or #4821 and pick Find order #4821 to open Orders filtered to that order number across the last year, in every privacy mode.
  • Pick up where you left off. Open search without typing to see the places you opened from it most recently. They are kept in this browser only.
  • Get help from the same box. Type what you need help with, such as "invite", to see up to four matching help articles; pick one to read it without leaving the page. Type "help", "support" or "contact" to book a call or email us. When nothing matches, search says so and offers your recent places and the same two ways to reach us.
  • Use the keyboard. The arrow keys move through the results, Enter opens the highlighted one and Esc closes search. Each result shows where it lives, and the highlighted one shows what Enter does.
